Posteriormente obtuvo el t\u00edtulo de Doctora Europea en Filolog\u00eda Hisp\u00e1nica, en la especialidad de ling\u00fc\u00edstica, y orient\u00f3 su actividad hacia el mundo de la traducci\u00f3n acad\u00e9mica y editorial. En Barcelona imparti\u00f3 clases en la Universitat Pompeu Fabra. Traduce y edita numerosas publicaciones del sistema de Naciones Unidas en Ginebra. Ha publicado m\u00e1s de un centenar de traducciones de ensayo, narrativa y poes\u00eda.
